Trading Profile updates and recovery
Saving a Trading Profile and applying it to an account are separate steps. Check the account's assignment state to know which version is active.
Understand the assignment state
| State | Meaning and next step |
|---|---|
| Not assigned | Choose a saved profile version for this account. |
| Waiting for confirmation | The requested version is not yet confirmed; current settings remain active. |
| Waiting for earlier requests | Earlier execution requests must finish checking before the update proceeds. |
| Earlier requests need review | Investigate those requests and their broker outcomes. Current settings remain active. |
| Applied | The account confirmed the displayed applied version. |
| Update not applied | The account could not apply the version. Previous settings remain active. |
Recover a waiting or rejected update
- Open Accounts and check that the target account is connected and ready.
- Review its Trading Profile assignment and compare the requested and applied versions.
- Inspect earlier requests in Trading or Execution History if the assignment shows a blocker.
- Resolve uncertain broker outcomes before requesting another change.
- Retry the update when offered and wait for Applied.
Refreshing a page or saving the profile again does not itself prove the account adopted the version. If an earlier request remains under review, collect its safe support reference rather than repeatedly submitting settings.
A signal used unexpected settings
Check the account result for that historical signal and the version applied at that time. Editing a saved profile or requesting a newer version does not retroactively change an already processed signal.
If a demo test fails after an update, first confirm Applied, then read the test's execution reason. A valid profile does not override broker volume, symbol, margin or market-hour restrictions.
