Orders, stop loss & take profit
Use Trading Profiles → Configure → Orders, SL & TP to define how a recognized signal becomes orders. Preview a representative signal after changing these rules, then save and apply the intended version.
Choose an order layout
Order count mode offers two layouts:
| Layout | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Create orders from signal TP levels | Uses available effective targets to create separately tracked orders. |
| Use a fixed number of orders | Uses Orders per signal within the profile's supported target count. |
Profiles can expose three or five TP slots. Use the fields actually shown by your saved profile; five-target values must be configured explicitly where required.
For a single-order layout, Take-profit target for single-order mode selects the target. If that target is missing, the EA looks for an available lower target. Add an order at the second entry adds the signal's second entry only for a single-order layout; it does not duplicate every TP order.
Check the total planned orders in preview, especially when combining multiple TP orders, second entries, and account count limits.
Choose where SL and TP come from
| SL & TP source | Result |
|---|---|
| Use SL & TP from the signal | Keeps signal prices or pip distances in their stated units. |
| Use fixed SL & TP distances | Replaces both with configured pip distances. |
| Use fixed SL · signal TP | Replaces SL and keeps signal TP. |
| Use signal SL · fixed TP | Keeps signal SL and replaces TP. |
Fixed stop-loss distance must be positive when selected. Enter Fixed take-profit distances for the target slots you intend to use. Fixed distances are pips, not broker points.
Require a stop loss before opening and Require a take profit before opening check the effective levels after these rules are applied. A missing source SL can therefore be supplied by fixed-SL rules. Auto Lot by SL requires a valid effective SL for risk calculation.
Handle price movement
Enable Check price difference from signal entry, set Maximum price difference in pips, and select a Price-move action:
- Skip the signal rejects an entry outside the allowed difference.
- Place a pending order uses a pending entry when the market has moved beyond the allowed difference.
- Accept only a better price accepts favorable movement rather than treating all movement equally.
These checks use current broker quotes. They do not guarantee a final fill price.
Set pending order expiry
Pending order expiry is measured in minutes from placement. A value of 0 keeps the pending order good till cancelled. It also applies to pending orders created by price-movement handling. If the broker does not support the requested expiration mode, the planned batch is rejected rather than silently discarding the expiry.
Troubleshoot an order that did not open
Check the parsed entry, effective SL/TP, selected order layout, account's confirmed profile version, trading filters, broker symbol, size, and available margin. An invalid stop distance or unsupported pending expiry is an account/broker check, not evidence that the Telegram message was unreadable.
