Signal execution behavior
TTMT processes channel signals using the receiving MT account's applied Trading Profile. The current channel setup focuses on the Telegram receive source, receiving accounts and readiness.
Configure execution
- Open the channel's Setup tab.
- Review the accounts under Receiving MT accounts.
- Open the account's Trading Profile link.
- Review signal handling, risk, entries and position-management rules in the profile, save it and apply the intended version.
- Return to the channel and verify the account is Ready.
Changing an account's Trading Profile affects every channel routed to that account. Use separate MT accounts if you need independently applied profiles for different signal sources.
Channel settings in older guides
Channel-level execution-mode controls, first-alert mode, default SL/TP and trading schedules are not available in the current channel setup. Do not follow older instructions that tell you to enable these controls there. Review available behavior in Trading Profiles instead.
A received message still needs to describe a supported trading action and pass the account's rules. A post arriving successfully does not guarantee an order.
| Situation | Action |
|---|---|
| You want to change symbols, SL/TP or trading hours | Open the receiving account's Trading Profile. |
| A signal is received without a trade | Inspect Signals and the receiving account's readiness and processing reason. |
| An older configuration needs attention | Review the current Trading Profile and contact support if the channel remains blocked. |
