Connect MetaTrader 5
Connect an MT5 account so TTMT can verify broker access and prepare it for signal execution. Start with a demo account to check your setup before using real funds.
Before you start
You need an available MT5 slot in your plan and the account's trading-terminal credentials: account number, trading password and exact broker server. These are different from your broker website login. An investor or read-only password cannot execute trades. Live accounts must use MT5 hedging mode.
Keep passwords private. Do not include them in screenshots, support messages or documentation.
Connect an account
- Open the dashboard's MetaTrader accounts page and choose Connect MetaTrader Account. If you already have accounts, choose Connect another account.
- Choose Demo Account or Live Account as available for your workspace. Demo accounts also use your plan quota.
- In MetaTrader Login, optionally enter an Account name.
- Enter MetaTrader Account Number and Trading Password.
- Search Server and select the exact server provided by your broker.
- Choose Connect Account and wait through Connection check.
- Open the saved account and review Connection readiness, its Trading Profile and trading controls.
An accepted connection request or a progress indicator is not proof that trading is ready. Verify the account's final status and its applied profile.
Review execution before connecting channels
New live accounts can automatically enable trading after verification when their Trading Profile is ready and workspace execution is on. Review both workspace and account execution controls before adding signal routes. You can turn trading off.
Assign the account to channels through Receiving MT accounts. Connecting the account alone does not select the Telegram channels it should receive.
Recover a connection
Use the account's credential update or reconnect action when prompted. After replacing credentials, wait for verification and refresh readiness. If the result is uncertain, check the saved account before creating another connection.
