Breakeven & trailing stops

Configure Trading Profiles → Position management to move stops on TTMT-managed positions. These rules take effect after the account confirms the saved profile version.

Move SL at a target

In Protect the remaining position, choose Move SL to when TP1 is reached, TP2, or additional targets shown by the profile. Available destinations include entry and permitted earlier target levels. Do not move leaves that trigger disabled.

SL offset from selected level adds a pip offset to the selected level. The EA only tightens protection; it does not loosen an existing protective SL. Broker stop restrictions can prevent a requested move.

Moving SL to entry references the position entry price. It does not promise a zero-cost outcome after spread, commissions, swaps, slippage, or gaps.

Move SL after a pip gain

Use Move SL to after a pip gain and Profit distance before moving SL for a distance-based trigger. Choose a supported destination and supply a matching distance. To disable the rule, select Do not move and set the distance to 0.

These SL triggers are applied once per position; switching profile versions does not reset completed actions.

Configure trailing

  1. In Trailing stop, choose Trailing trigger: a target supported by the profile, After a pip gain, or Off.
  2. For a pip trigger, set Profit distance before trailing in pips.
  3. Set Trailing distance behind price in broker points.
  4. Set Trailing step, the minimum improvement before another stop move, also in broker points.
  5. Save, apply, and check the confirmed version.

Pips and points are different units. Do not copy a pip distance into a points field without checking that broker instrument's precision.

Trailing is managed locally by the EA. It can continue during a Host disconnection under the last applied permissions, but it still depends on the terminal/EA running, usable market prices, and broker acceptance. A disconnected or stopped terminal cannot provide ongoing local trailing updates.

Move TP to entry after adverse movement

Move TP to entry after price moves against position is a separate, loss-side rule. It uses Adverse price distance before moving TP to entry, then requests TP at the original entry, subject to broker stop rules. It is not the same as moving SL to entry after profit.

When a management action is missing

Check the account's confirmed version, whether the position is still open and TTMT-managed, the trigger price, existing SL, broker distance rules, and execution result. An action awaiting confirmation should be reconciled before another manual request; a trigger alone does not confirm a broker change.
