Connect Telegram

Connect your personal Telegram account to discover channels you have joined and choose which ones TTMT should monitor. Alternatively, use a Telegram bot for channels where you can add one.

Before you start

Use the intended workspace and a role allowed to manage Telegram. Have access to your Telegram phone number, login code and two-step verification password if enabled. Enter codes and passwords only in the TTMT connection form; do not send them in support messages.

Connect your account

1. Open Telegram in the dashboard.
2. In Telegram account, choose your country and enter your phone number.
3. Choose Send verification code.
4. Read the delivery instructions shown in TTMT. The code source can vary; use the specified sender rather than assuming the code arrives by SMS.
5. Enter the five- or six-digit code and choose Verify code.
6. If Telegram asks for two-step verification, enter your Cloud Password and choose Verify password.
7. Wait for the connected state, then choose Choose signal channels.

The connected card confirms the account connection. Channel monitoring is checked separately: verify the channel's status after selecting channels.

Reconnect or disconnect

Use Manage connection to access connection maintenance. Follow the reconnect flow when authentication is required again.

If Telegram is still preparing the account, use Continue verification when it is ready. Only enter a 2FA password when Telegram explicitly asks for one.

To disconnect, choose Disconnect, review the impact and type DISCONNECT exactly before confirming. Channels using this personal account source will need a working connection to receive future signals.

Account scope

The current dashboard manages one personal Telegram account connection in each workspace. Bot connections are managed separately. Connecting several MT5 accounts does not require several personal Telegram accounts.

Problem	Action
Verification code missing	Follow the delivery instructions and check the intended Telegram account. Wait before requesting another code.
Too many verification codes requested	Wait for the displayed limit. Repeated requests can extend the restriction.
Verification already in progress	Continue the current step or wait for it to expire.
Session expired	Log in to TTMT again.
Channel missing	Confirm you joined it with the connected account, then choose Sync from Telegram in channel selection.
Telegram connected but monitoring unavailable	Refresh the channel monitoring data; connection and signal reception are separate checks.
